Project Description

Saturday, December 13 (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)

It’s a day that’s been set aside to lay wreaths at Fort Custer National Cemetery (15501 Dickman Road, Augusta) where we remember, honor and teach about our veterans - cemeteries, monuments, parks, anywhere we can pay tribute to their sacrifices. Currently there are over 26,000 veterans and family members interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Meet at Administrative Building by 11:30 a.m. Just follow the sign when you enter the cemetery, it's the first big building on the right. Dress appropriately as it can get very cold.

Community Partner - Fort Custer National Cemetery

Fort Custer National Cemetery Accommodations

  • Must be 10 years or older
  • Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • This is outdoors and winter, so dress accordingly.
