Project Description
We will be distributing water/Gatorade for participants during the race inside Fort Harrison Park.
Please wear shoes that are comfortable and that can get wet. Sanitary latex gloves will be provided and are required to wear while distributing drinks.
2019 Indy Half Marathon Volunteer Event Details
Arrival Time: 7:00 a.m. (the park will close to traffic shortly after 7 a.m.)
Departure Time: 11:30 a.m.
Where to park:
Enter Fort Harrison State Park from Post Road.
After passing the gate house, take the first right.
The last parking area on the left is where you should park.
The attached map shows the location of our Water Stop station: E2
What to wear/bring:
- Dress in layers due to weather forecast
- Extra change of clothes/shoes - We are likely to get wet handing out cups to runners
- Beverage, snack for yourself
