Project Description

Volunteers will be asked to help with cold-season transition tasks at Allen Neighborhood Center's one-acre urban farm and greenhouse, referred to as the ANC Hunter Park GardenHouse. Activities take place rain or shine, only closing for thunder/lightning - so volunteers should come dressed for the weather.

Volunteers will help turnover crop beds and perform general cleanup tasks. Volunteers should bring a refillable water bottle with them - but nothing beyond that is required - all necessary tools will be provided. No experience necessary.
