Wreath Laying at Arlington Cemetery

Project Description

December's volunteer event is the annual laying of the wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, December 15 at 8:30 a.m.. If you haven't added this to your list of holiday traditions, you absolutely should. Putting a wreath on a grave is a simple action with immense meaning. Also, if you have family, it is highly recommended that you bring them, too. Arlington National Cemetery opens at 8:00 a.m.. General wreath placement starts at 9:00 a.m. Don't be late - they run out of wreaths fast. We will meet just past the bag check/metal detectors. Enter a building to do the bag check, and then move right outside again through a different door. I'll be outside with an MSU flag.
