Project Description

Please join Spartans in West Michigan as we partner with current MSU students to Celebrate Black History Month by serving our local and global communities. We will be working with Habitat for Humanity of Kent County painting and other finishing touches to complete a new home for a local family. This project will require some light lifting. Completion of a liability waiver is required for participation and these will be available on the day of the project. Habitat for Humanity is a non profit organization that brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat for Humanity builds, rehabs, and repairs homes; provides financial and home ownership training to home buyers, and contributes to neighborhood revitalization. Their vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. This opportunity is coordinated in partnership with the Spartans Will. SERVE campus committee. You will be serving with current MSU students. Students interested in volunteering need to register through the student portal.
