Project Description
Join the Chicago Spartans again this year as we lead a cleanup day at Montrose Beach and Bird Sanctuary in conjunction with Michigan State University's annual Global Day of Service. Spartan volunteers will spend the morning beautifying the beach and bird sanctuary as we get ready for a fantastic spring! With over 26 miles of lakefront, Chicago’s beaches are one of the city’s greatest resources and need your help to keep them pristine! Please bring your outdoor supplies (e.g., rakes, shovels, etc) as these will not be provided. A limited number of gloves will be available but please bring your own if you have them. Go Green! Go Chicago!Community Partner -
