Project Description

You can deliver health and hope to the world on April 13! Chicago Spartans are partnering with PROJECT C.U.R.E. in Woodridge to sort and pack medical supplies. Project C.U.R.E. is the largest provider of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world. Project C.U.R.E. is a 501c3 organization. Anyone can participate! Volunteers under the age of 13 must have a parent or guardian present and everyone will need to sign a waiver upon arrival. No special skill set is required, but if you have a medical background, you may be able to offer a more sophisticated sorting. Or anyone with an engineering or similar background may be able to help with testing donated equipment. Bond with fellow Chicago area Spartans as we continue this proud tradition of service! Wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Boxes in the warehouse are often dusty. The warehouse gets cooler and warmer with the weather, so you may want to bring a sweatshirt or jacket. Closed-toed shoes are required for safety. Bottled water will be provided for volunteers. Please feel free to bring other drinks or snacks if you wish.
