Project Description
Get your garden on at the National Arboretum with DC Spartans. We will help weed and mulch garden beds. Please wear close-toed shoes and work clothes and bring water and sunscreen. If you have your own work gloves, please bring them- if not, the Arboretum should have some extra pairs to borrow. Please meet at 1 p.m. in the Arboretum Visitor Center located near the R Street entrance (Google Maps address: 2400 R Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002) From the R Street entrance park in the lot directly inside the entrance and follow the driveway or sidewalk to the Visitor Center lobby. We will meet in the lobby to sign volunteer release forms before walking to the work site nearby.Community Partner -
