What to Expect: Project and Volunteer Registration

Once you register a project, you'll receive an email confirmation that will include a link to allow you to access your project details and:

  • Add/decrease number of volunteers needed.
  • Remove volunteers upon request.
  • Find volunteer contact information.
  • Send service project updates to volunteers.

You will also receive an email when someone volunteers for your project. See our project planning guide for additional information on coordinating your project.

After you register to volunteer, you’ll receive an email that confirms the details of your project. You’ll also receive an email from your project coordinator with information prior to your project date.

What if There are No Projects to Volunteer for in My Area?

If you’re interested in volunteering but do not see a project in your area, let us know you're interested and we’ll tell you if a project is added near you. You can also create your own project, or check back as projects are often added.
