Nebraska Spartans - Salvation Army Notes of Encouragement
Hosted by Nebraska Spartans.

Volunteer registration is closed.
Project Description
Hello Nebraska Spartans! In keeping with our strong tradition of serivce, we are coordinating a note writing activity for this year's Global Day of Service.
Who doesn't like getting happy mail?!
The senior residents at The Salvation Army's Durham Booth Manor as well as our military veterans in The Salvation Army's Veterans Programs would love to receive cards, children's artwork and positive quotes as often as you can create them! Your heartfelt messages could bring a smile to more than 50 people. Multiple notes means multiple smiles!!!
This is a volunteer opportunity that can be done anywhere, at any time and by people of any age.
Guidance for your notes: Letters, cards, and children's drawings should be full of hope, positivity, and well wishes. Please do not include food or gifts.
Notes should be brought to or mailed to:
923 N 38TH ST, OMAHA, NE, 68131 (Attn: Kim "NOTES OF ENCOURAGEMENT")
*To ensure your notes go to the intended recipients, please mark your envelop with the following: seniors (DBM) or veterans (VETS)
*If dropping off in person, office hours are 8:30am-3pm
Please make sure to sign up as a volunteer directly with the Salvation Army as well!
