Project Description

***This project is in Flint, MI in partnership with the Genesee County Spartans.***

Volunteers will help prepare materials for lessons that the education team takes out to Flint and surrounding schools and for field trips that come into Michigan’s largest planetarium, Longway, and Sloan Museum of Discovery.  The planetarium and museum currently services 90,000 students in Flint and the surrounding areas and needs help making sure these materials are ready.

All participants must check-in at the Spartan Stadium Tower.  Transportation to Flint will depart from the stadium.  A boxed lunch and Service Day t-shirt will be provided to all volunteers.

Schedule
Volunteer Arrival & Registration: 8:15am-8:45am
Bus Departs: 8:50am
Return to Campus: 1:00pm
