Project Description

Calhoun County Spartans and Friends here is a great volunteer opportunity at the South Michigan Food Bank (5451 Wayne Rd in Battle Creek) on Tuesday, June 13 from 1:00-3:30 p.m.

You may help put together After School Packs, repackage/label food stuff, and/or handle line-rescue items from cereal factories, or preparing food items and packaging for clients in 8 counties

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Age: 6 years old or older
  • Clothing: Please dress in comfortable clothing such as jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes.

All volunteers will receive instructions, training and sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
