Project Description
Be a part of an unforgettable experience for our newly admitted Spartans! At Admitted Student Day, you'll be helping students and their families discover what it means to be part of the extraordinary Spartan community. We are seeking volunteers who are familiar with our campus and who are passionate about our community. Assignments will vary, but we are primarily looking for people to assist with helping families to find their way to the various sessions across campus.
There will be refreshments for volunteers as well as a parting gift at the end of your shift!
Important Note: All volunteers will be contacted by the Office of Admissions to discuss shift assignments and location, training (if necessary), and to conduct a mandatory background check.

Participant Schedule
- 8:30 a.m. — Doors open.
- 8:30-10:15 a.m. — Check-in and preshow performances. And don’t miss out on the giveaways!
- 10:15-11 a.m. — Welcome and Event Kick-Off. Let the celebration begin!
- Noon-4 p.m. — Exploration/Campus Open House. Choose from more than 100 sessions and discover what MSU has in store for you as a student!
Make sure to dress casually and comfortably for April weather in Michigan. Sun, rain or snow (sometimes all three in one day) are possible in the spring, so keep checking that weather app.
