Project Description

Join fellow alums on Saturday, August 3 from 9 a.m. - noon at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan! 

Volunteers must be 12 or older; those under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Closed-toed shoes are required and sneakers or boots are recommend. No slip-on or open-toed shoes are permitted in the warehouse. Clothing should fit comfortably, allowing volunteers to move freely. Tank tops, mid-driff baring shirts, and low-cut tops are not permitted. Temperature in the warehouse varies, so layers are recommended. 

Please be advised volunteers should park and enter from 1939 Howard Ave, Flint, MI.

The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan serves a network of nearly 600 hunger relief partners throughout 22 counties. The Food Bank has been committed to fighting hunger and working to meet the rising need since it first began as a small grass-roots organization in Genesee County in 1981.
