Manna Food 4 Kids Backpack Program
Hosted by Tip of the Mitt Spartans.

Volunteer registration is closed.
Project Description
Each week during the school year, dedicated volunteers assemble and deliver about 2,000 backpacks to 31 elementary schools and pre-school programs in Antrim, Charlevoix, and Emmet Counties in Northern Michigan. This year, Manna Food Project is on schedule to deliver about 65,000 Food 4 Kids bags.
Manna's Food 4 Kids Backpack volunteering opportunity on Saturday, Nov. 9th, from 10 a.m. to noon, involves filling bags in assembly-line fashion with kid-friendly food, as well as restocking the assembly line, and packing the bags into boxes. Volunteers say this is their favorite program at Manna, and it is highly recognized by children in the participating schools, providing them with supplemental food items to last them through the weekend.
