Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan - Putting Good Food to Good Use
Food Rescue rescues, harvests, repacks, and distributes 2 million pounds of food annually — that’s $3.34 million worth of food! Each day, we bring 7,000lbs of food to more than 70 food pantries and community meal sites in the Northwest Food Coalition, and 42% of it is fruits and vegetables. We partner with 185 organizations to distribute food equitably across a rural five-county area twice the size of Rhode Island.
