DFW Spartans | Feed My Starving Children
Hosted by Dallas - Ft. Worth Spartans.

Project Description
FMSC offers volunteers a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll hand-pack rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which are then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to incredible partners who distribute the food to children who need it around the world.
Through volunteering at FMSC, you’ll get the chance to impact hundreds of kids in just two hours per packing shift. You’ll experience what it’s like to make a tangible difference today.
Feed My Starving Children meals are produced by volunteers in Arizona, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas and all around the United States through MobilePack events.

About Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian nonprofit organization that provides fortified MannaPack meals to children and families in need around the world, funded by donations and assembled by volunteers at packing events and permanent sites. The organization partners with global humanitarian and mission organizations to distribute the meals, which are designed to reverse undernutrition and serve as the foundation for sustainable community development. Donors and volunteers participate in packing sessions to assemble the meals.
Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) distributes high-nutrition meals to children in 70+ countries through a network of international partners who distribute the food in schools, orphanages, and clinics to help break the cycle of poverty. The organization relies on volunteers to pack meals and donations to fund meal ingredients, with over 99% of meals reaching their intended destinations due to their unique accountability model where partners invest in shipping costs and verify delivery. FMSC also supports sustainable development by creating the FMSC MarketPlace, which buys handmade goods from local artisans, and by promoting community self-sufficiency.
