About Space Coast Marathon

The Space Coast Marathon is one of Florida's oldest marathons, offering runners a unique "Mission to Mars" series theme. The marathon features a USATF certified waterfront course that highlights the natural beauty of Florida's east coast, starting in Cocoa Village and running along Indian River Drive. The flat, scenic route is ideal for Boston qualifiers and boasts space-themed aid stations. Participants enjoy a variety of perks, including medals, shirts, finisher towels, and breakfast, with the race culminating in a fun and inclusive atmosphere. The 2025 theme, "Perseverance Rover," adds an extra layer of excitement. The marathon has a 7-hour time limit and starts at 6:00 am, making it a rewarding challenge for runners of all levels.
