Project Description
Join the Saginaw Spartans as we serve the East Side Soup Kitchen. They provide meals and hope in the heart of Saginaw and we get to help! We will be chopping food, preparing breakfast, serving food, and any other duties they need help with that day. No experience necessary, just the desire to serve.

Please print, complete, and bring the "Volunteer-Info-Sheet-Agreement" on the day of our event. A form is required for each volunteer.
About East Side Soup Kitchen
The East Side Soup Kitchen’s provides meals and hope in the heart of Saginaw. We are honored to serve our community, treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
All are welcome at the East Side Soup Kitchen, regardless of perceived need, race and of religious beliefs.
We feed the hungry, comfort the afflicted, seek justice for people experiencing homelessness, and provide hope and opportunity to those in need. We also help connect those in need with community resources and agencies.
To help reach these goals, we serve nutritious meals, each weekday to anyone, without question or qualification. With our partners, we also provide programs for health, wellness and success.
We have been blessed with ongoing community involvement. Although we have staff helping throughout the week, we do rely on volunteers to help with basic preparation such as chopping veggies, opening cans collected from food drives, and serving from the food stations.
