D.C. Spartans | Garden Project at the US National Arboretum
Project Description
Join us to help assemble "cold frames" which will be used for caring for plants before they are put on display at the National Arboretum. This is a great opportunity to assist professional horticulturists and learn more about garden care! Plan to park and meet at the National Arboretum visitor center located at the R Street entrance and be sure to bring sturdy shoes, gloves, and sunscreen. The event is planned for 9 a.m.- noon on Saturday, May 23. Plan to meet in visitor center lobby by 9:00 a.m.Afterwards, you have the opportunity to enjoy one of the "hidden gems" of DC-- the 440-acre US National Arboretum!
