AZ Spartans | Memorial Weekend - Flag Placing at Green Acres Cemetery

Project Description

Join us on Saturday, May 23th at 7:00 AM at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale for a special community service project with the Young Marines.  We will be placing flags to honor veterans for their service.

To help support this event, community service participants will be placing flags at the gravesites throughout the cemetery.  All ages are welcome. Make sure you wear your GREEN and WHITE!   MSU alumni Jami Goldman will be there to help facilitate any AZ Spartans showing up for the event.

Please be sure to bring water and sunscreen.  NOTE:  Please also bring a flat head screwdriver and a small hammer or rubber mallet to help place the flags.
