Indy Spartans Hosting 2026 Indy Half Marathon Water Station

Project Description

The Indy Spartans are hosting a water station at the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Benjamin Harrison. We've been supplying volunteers for this event for around 18 years and in turn the Marathon makes a donation to our Indy Spartans Scholarship Fund!

We need at least 15 volunteers to make the station run smoothly. Spartans, family and friends above age 12 are all welcome. Our responsibilities will include providing water and, more importantly, support to the participants as they make their way along the course. Duties include setting up and managing our assigned station: arranging tables and cups, mixing electrolyte drinks and filling cups, replenishing water and other nourishment as available, picking up and properly disposing of empty cups, and encouraging and cheering on participants.
