Admitted Student Reception - Minneapolis MN

The Office of Admissions is hosting an Admitted Student Reception for Minnesota high school seniors (and their families) that have been admitted to MSU for Fall 2020.  We are looking for 2-3 MSU alumni to come and meet and greet at this event.  Depending on attendance, we may ask you to come a few minutes early to help with check-in. It's a new event, so it may be pretty small, but it's great to have local alumni come and share a bit about their MSU experience.  We want to ensure that each student that attends has a chance to speak with an MSU alum, and that we have enough of us there to answer their questions.  A short slide presentation will be given by Admissions Staff, and there may be a housing representative as well.  Alumni may be asked to give a brief description of their MSU degree, and say a bit about themselves. If you are interested in volunteering, please register on this site, and follow up with an email to Tania Kurzawa at kurzawa@msu.edu with your contact information and the time you are available.  A member of the regional admissions team will get back to you to confirm your assistance and role.  Opportunities are first come, first serve.  Thanks!
