Calhoun County Spartans Help Clean Headstones at Fort Custer National Cemetery

Project Description

Assist in maintaining this scared place as a national shrine for those who have served their country in the United States Armed Forces. Currently there are of 26,000 Veterans and family members interred at Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Meet at the Administrative Building -- Just follow the sign when you enter the cemetery, it the first big building on the right.

Please bring working gloves, non metal brushes (or magic eraser cleaning pads) and a pail.  Some cleaning items will be available on site.

There are public restrooms but they are located near the cemetery entrance which is roughly a mile away from the burial areas.
