Project Description

The Grand Rapids Home for Veterans is in need of decorated placemats for their residents. Like many residents in other homes, these veterans have been confined to their room and facility, and allowed limited guests, during Covid-19.

In order to brighten their day, you can make placemats for their meal trays. Placemats should be 11x13 inches in size and can be made out of construction paper. If you do not already have materials in your home, food service retail locations such as Gordon Food Services (GFS) carry plain white placemats at a miminal price that can be used.

The placemats need to be glitter free and have generic messages and/or drawings on them. Please refrain from decorating in any religious or holiday motifs.
