Join fellow Spartans, Friends of Bachman Lake, the Dallas Rowing Club and local schools to clean Bachman Lake Park and Greenbelt. The park is right next to Love Field Airport and serves a diverse community. This area of Dallas has one of the highest rates of children under age 3 and we want to make sure that the park is clean and safe. We welcome individuals, families and even scout groups to help pick up trash as you walk around the lake. If you want to go all in, bring rubber boots or waders, picker-upers and if you want to clean debris waterside, you can do so with a kayak! If you rather, walk around and pick up trash around the creek and the lake, that is fine too!!
Clean-up around Bachman Lake Park and it’s Greenbelt will start at 9AM and go through 1PM in two shifts: 9-11 at the Bachman Lake Greenbelt and 11-1 at the Dallas Rowing Club. Bachman Lake is located in Dallas, directly next to Love Field airport. This park is one of the largest in Dallas and serves a very diverse and underserved community. Friends of Bachman Lake looks forward to welcoming MSU alumns in the Dallas / Fort Worth area to make a difference!
