Potter Park Zoo Grounds Beautification

Project Description

Volunteers would be helping with "Grounds Beautification," activities like raking, weeding, spreading mulch, planting, or painting.  All activities will be outside. All supplies for the activities will be provided.  Disposable gloves will be available as well.  However, if the volunteer would like to bring their own work gloves, that would be helpful to reduce the use of disposable gloves.

Volunteer Requirements:

  • Fill out a Volunteer Emergency Waiver/Release (Link #1 below)
  • Complete the health screening form (Link #2 below)
  • Wear a mask at all times
  • Social distancing for others outside of your household
  • Wear closed-toed shoes

EACH PARTICIPANT MUST do 1 and 2 below prior to volunteering with Potter Park Zoo

Please complete this form - be sure to select "I am a GROUP VOLUNTEER."

IMPORTANT:  Each volunteer onsite MUST complete the Symptom Checker Health Screen at home, BEFORE you come in via this link:

It will tell you if you are "Okay to report" to volunteer.  If you checked that you have any of the symptoms listed, you will not be able to volunteer.
