MSU FAME Care Closet

Project Description

The Fostering Academics Mentoring Excellence (FAME) Program supports MSU students who have experienced foster care, kinship care, homelessness and other out-of-home placements. Each semester during finals week, we provide care packages to help provide tangible resources, support and encouragement as they push through the remaining weeks of the semester.

If you would like to contribute to the FAME Care Closet or to future FAME Finals Week Care Packages, you can purchase items through our Amazon Wishlist and they will be sent directly to the FAME Program.

Notes

FAME is a resource center for foster youth alumni attending MSU as well as for youth who were in kinship care, have experienced homelessness, or are otherwise independent. FAME exists to provide support and resources to these students during their time at MSU to help them be successful during their collegiate experience on MSU's campus and during their transition to becoming MSU alumni.
