6 of 30 volunteers have pledged their time

Project Description

Volunteers will have not only April 17th, but the week of April 12-17th to donate to their Spartan Empathy and Equity Box. It is a 24-hour, anonymous, accessible pantry, where those who need food and other supplies can take what they need. Volunteers are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, personal hygiene items, or care packages containing a mix of both items. This small structure will be located outside The East Lansing Public Library.

Students will be asked to submit a photo of their donation and reflect upon their experiences through submission in a Google Drive by April 18th.  Students are expected to follow all social distancing protocols, such as wearing a mask/gloves, maintaining 6 feet from others, not attending the Library when feeling sick.
