Project Description

Join us at a tree planting event being held on Arbor Day! The event is co-sponsored by the Genesee Conservation District and will he held on Friday April 30 from 10 a.m. to noon. This will take place at Flint’s Broome Park. Flint has earned a “Tree City USA” designation and we will help the city keep that! Both funds and volunteers are needed, as the Genesee County Spartans are assisting in both ways. No matter your physical capabilities, there are tasks available for you. Free parking is provided, as well as tools and materials. Rain or shine, this event is on.C'mon out and show your Spartan spirit by wearing GREEN & WHITE. Photos will be taken and shared on our social media sites.

Lastly, in case you missed it, MSU’s annual Global Day of Service is Saturday, April 17th. The Genesee County Spartans will partner with The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Flint on FRIDAY, APRIL 16th, with three time slots to provide indoor and outdoor safe service to this terrific institution.
