*Photo ID on the day of the project is required to participate.
*Volunteers should be able to walk about a mile and carry about 10-20 pounds.
***Optional group brunch to follow the event
DOROT for three generations has been an innovative leader in the fields of aging services and volunteerism. DOROT’s mission is to alleviate social isolation among the elderly and provides services to help them live independently as valued members of the community. Some programs offered are: friendly visiting, reading assistance for visually impaired, shopping assistance, English language assistance, and others.
This service project is organized by an alumni club: Greater NYC Spartans.
