Volunteer Orientation with New York Cares

Project Description

This year for Global Day of Service, we have chosen to partner with the city's largest volunteer organization, New York Cares. 

Given the current state of the world, The Greater NYC Spartans are unable to safely provide local in-person volunteer opportunities. New York Cares, the city's largest volunteer organization, has stepped up to safely mobilize caring volunteers in response to the pandemic. Join us on Saturday, April 17th for Global Day of Service where we are aiming to sign up as many Spartans as possible for New York Cares so that they can safely volunteer in their local communities! We will also be featuring local alumni who currently volunteer with New York Cares and their experiences volunteering during the pandemic. 

After participating in our hour long session you will be certified  to volunteer on New York Cares projects virtually and throughout the 5 boroughs. The event will take place from 11am-12pm EST on April 17th.
