Write Cards for Meals on Wheels Seniors

Project Description

Write cards during the month of April that will be delivered with meals to seniors from our local Meals on Wheels People. The cards can be general or specific; they can include upbeat messages such as: “Hello! I hope you enjoy your meal and are taking care of yourself. Never forget how special you are and how much you mean to others. I’m sending good thoughts to you!” and signed with your first name. They can be homemade cards with crayons and stickers (if you'd like to involve your kids) and don't need envelopes. Send, or drop off, the cards to:

If you'd like to send occasion-specific cards, such as Mother's or Father's Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving or Christmas, the Meals on Wheels People will hold those cards until the time is right to deliver them. MoWP delivers meals to 8,000 people every single day, so they can use as many cards as we can create. We need your help! Thank you.
