Project Description

Join Baltimore Spartans for a rewarding day on the water helping individuals with disabilities experience the freedom of sailing through the Downtown Sailing Center's Access-Ability Sailing program. Volunteers will help set up boats, register sailors, and assist sailors and their families. All safety equipment will be provided.

Sailing experience is not required to volunteer; just compassion, a willingness to learn, and a desire to have fun!

No sailing experience is required for the following volunteer positions: Greeter, Escort, Access Dinghy Rig, and Sailing Buddy.

Do you have some sailing experience? Please let Kim Brock know so you can put your experience to work.

  • 9AM - Set up begins
  • 10AM-12PM - Sailing
  • 12PM-1PM - Clean Up

On-site parking is available. A background check is required.

You must also register directly with the Downtown Sailing Center using the link provided below.
