Oakland Family Services Natural Playground

Project Description

Flexible shifts available for volunteers. A natural playground for their toddlers will be created and we will clean up the existing area and move the garden into the playground area. Natural playgrounds benefit children more than traditional playgrounds allowing them to be more active, more creative, encourage social problem solving, and more. This is the only safe green space these kids have and they spend 70 minutes a day at minimum outside each day it is safe to be outside. Interested in donating money in addition?
