2023 White River Cleanup - Downtown Indianapolis

Project Description

Join fellow Spartans and approximately 200 volunteers to help clean up the White River area in downtown Indianapolis.

Everyone will meet up at the check-in location and we will be bussed as a group to one of the cleanup sites.

The cleanup goes from 8 a.m. to noon.

There is no age restriction to volunteer.

The community partner also requires that volunteers register with them or complete additional documentation. See information and link below in Accommodations section.

About Friends of the White River

Mission: The Friends of the White River exists to protect, preserve, and promote our vital resource for communities in Central Indiana by connecting people to the White River.

Vision: Friends of the White River advocate for a clean, healthy river ecosystem. We will secure the necessary resources to educate, inform, and collaborate with the community including individuals, educators, government, business and other organizations, to sustain the long-term viability of the White River as a unique natural resource of Indiana now and for future generations.
