Project Description

Go Green this Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, with the DC Spartans as we join Anacostia Riverkeepers at Kenilworth Park in NE DC to help cleanup the DC waterways. 

From 9 a.m.- 12 p.m., Anacostia Riverkeepers will be leading a park and river cleanup. Please plan to arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. to pick up equipment and complete any on site registration. Jerry, the DC Spartans board president, will be leading this event, so keep an eye out for him and he will gather the group. Be sure to wear your DC Spartans green as you Go Green this Earth Day. 

Anacostia Riverkeepers will provide all equipment. Please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Event will happen rain or shine.
