Project Description

Join DC Spartans on Sunday, September 17th from 2-4 pm as we join Francis on the Hill with some fall cleaning and organizing. Francis on the Hill helps families through Washington, D.C. by providing groceries, diapers, clothing and more. They need our help with cleaning, including bins, supply shelves, moving items and cleaning under them, cleaning corners, and reorganizing items. If we are able to work through all of the cleaning, we can help them with p*-repare grocery bags that are provided to the community.

We will be volunteering from 2-4 pm, so are asking volunteers to arrive between 1:50-2 pm. The address to look for is 1615 Manchester Lane, NW, Washington, DC 20011. An alley starts by the gate of that address and the garage is the second garage in the alley (right side). Free parking is available on the street, down Manchester Lane on the right, around the corner at the bottom of Manchester Lane, or in the cul-de-sac to the left (Manchester Place). Car pooling might be a plus. Bus stops are also nearby. Look for the Villa garage (second garage on the right) and people there.

Remember to wear your DC Spartans and/or Green/White gear! Go Green!
