Project Description

Work together to sort and/or pack produce, nonperishable foods, and household items, preparing them for distribution. Duties may include checking for expiration dates, quality control, labeling cans, bagging product.

  • Closed toe shoes are mandatory
  • Feel free to bring your own hydration beverage with a closed twist off cap (no fountain drinks)
  • Food is not allowed beyond volunteer lobby area

The San Antonio Food Bank serves 29 counties across Southwest Texas, serving families from Atascosa to Zavala Counties. The San Antonio Food Bank supports the efforts of the New Braunfels Food Bank, Frio County Food Bank, and Concho Valley Regional Food Bank to provide food assistance to one of the largest service areas in Texas.
