Oakland Spartans Blood Drive

Project Description

In Spartans spirit, the MSU Alumni Association Oakland Spartans is hosting a Blood Drive.  Your blood donation is needed to help researchers develop cures, treatments, and diagnosis methods for those afflicted with a medical illness or disease.   Michigan Blood Collection is the premier option for medical research in Michigan.  Donations are quick and easy, and all donors will be compensated for their time with a $50 gift card for their donation.  They keep donor and researcher safety on top of mind, and sample collection is done under strict IRB regulations and meets all HIPAA compliance protocols.  The samples are then supplied to scientists around the world to use in advancing their research.

Important Note: Blood donation appointments are available between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and typically last about 30 minutes.
