Project Description

May 11, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Love Your Mother Earth cleanup at Thalia Creek Kayak launch in Virginia Beach. This is a land-based cleanup.  We will be working with Lynnhaven River Now (LRN) to clean the waterways.

  • This is an outdoor waterway clean up.
  • Wear appropriate clothing/shoes.
  • Expect to get dirty. Bring Gloves.
  • LRN will provide other clean up tools.

Almost everything with this cleanup is along a roadway, so this may not be best for younger children.

Plan to catch lunch afterwards with the group.
