Volunteer at MSU Tollgate Farms

Project Description
Come join the Oakland Spartan family as we volunteer doing service work at Tollgate Farm on May 11th, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The group will be volunteering in the CSA vegetable growing area helping them get ready for the 2024 season. No experience is needed. Just come and have fun, meet other Spartans is the area. Please dress for the weather and wear clothing that they don’t mind getting a bit dirty.
MSU Tollgate is located at 28115 Meadowbrook Road between 12 and 13 Mile Road in Novi. If arriving from 12 Mile Road - the public should use the second driveway past the farmhouse to the parking lot. Due to current construction, the only way to access to the farm is from 12 Mile Road, northbound on Meadowbrook.

About MSU Tollgate
You are welcome to explore Tollgate Farm and see the many animals that reside on the property. MSU Tollgate has many farm animals on the site. MSU Tollgate is an oasis of green in the ever more urbanized environment of southeast Michigan. Of the 160 acres that constitute the MSU Tollgate Education Center, 70 acres are fields and pastures. The farm has a beautiful pond, the forest (which they make Maple Syrup at) and the gardens will be blooming soon. Help make this farm a beautiful MSU site.
