Project Description

**This project is for MSU affiliates and/or employees only.**

Join WKAR Public Media at the East Lansing Art Festival! WKAR radio personalities will help emcee the main stage throughout the weekend. The WKAR team will have a table next to the main stage where we will hand out swag and general information about the station.

Description/Requirements: WKAR is looking for volunteers to help hand out swag and represent the station. Volunteers will be required to stand for prolonged periods of time and engage with festival attendees. General talking points about the station will be provided and a WKAR staff member will be at the table at all times to answer questions.

Setting: Table will be located outside, under a tent.

Dress code: Volunteers should wear an MSU shirt and weather appropriate shoes/bottoms. Please wear comfortable shoes as you will be standing/moving throughout the event.

Materials needed: Volunteers should bring a water bottle and snack if needed for the two hour shift.

Parking: Parking is available at the Division St Parking Garage (199 Division St, East Lansing, MI 48823). Parking will be validated at the WKAR table upon shift end.

Arrival: Upon arrival, please navigate to the main stage at the corner of M.A.C. Ave and Albert St, across from the Marriott East Lansing at University Place. Look for the WKAR teardrop banner.
