Project Description

DUTIES: Projects and tasks include: Organization and cleaning in the community center. Preparing and distributing community flyers. Community Garden tasks include: Harvesting fall produce, organizing garden storage areas, weeding, and winterization tasks. ABOUT:Edgewood Village Network Center and Community Garden are shared spaces that support our Non-profits mission to improve the communal quality of life for our community and residents. Our community center is a gathering place where educational, recreational, economic, and leadership programs are held for residents of all ages. Our community garden gives residents a place to grow fresh produce, we also grow share produce for the whole community, and offers garden and nutrition education, increasing food security and fostering relationships.
