Philly Spartans Bye Week Guest Chef at RMH Event!

The Philly Spartans will be providing approximately 40 residents of the Front & Erie Ronald McDonald House with a tasty, hearty, and nutritious dinner. Since this event is taking place on the MSU football bye weekend, the Philly Spartans hope that you will show your Spartan Spirit by coming to prepare assorted chilis, cornbread, salad, and dessert for the residents of the RMH. Let's bring all of the fun of tailgating in front of Spartan Stadium to the families seeking treatment at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children!

Groups can arrive any time after 3:00pm as long as dinner is ready by 6:00pm. Dinner is served buffet style and we invite you to dine and interact with the families. We have a fully stocked preparation area with four stoves and ovens and plenty of pots and pans, dinner plates, flatware, beverages and salad dressing available. We ask that your group cleans up whichever cooking items you have used. You can start putting away leftovers and cleaning up the kitchen at 7:15pm, and your entire service usually ends by 8:00 or 8:15pm.

Please wear food service gloves provided in our kitchen for food safety and for the health of immune-suppressed families. It is extremely important that we ensure there are safeguards in place to reduce the risk of communicable diseases to be brought into the House.

We ask all individuals coming to the House to read the attached questionnaire, boundaries guide and Visitor Policy ID Card. While you do not have to fill out any forms, we do ask that you have each member of your group read the attachments before your scheduled visit. We appreciate your cooperation with these important guidelines.
