Indy Spartans Volunteer at the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben

Project Description

For the 13th year, Indy Spartans will spend a beautiful fall morning volunteering at the Indy Half Marathon at Fort Ben. We would appreciate your help distributing the Spartan Spirit and water/Gatorade to the participants during the race on Saturday, October 2, 2021.

The Water Stop location is outside of the Fort Benjamin Harrison Park at the Fort Harrison Veterans Center which is located at 59th and Lee Road. You will be able to park right there in their parking lot. Volunteers must arrive by 7:00 a.m. and the shift will last until approximately 11:15 a.m.

Race organizers make a donation to our scholarship fund for every volunteer we bring (age 12 and up), so bring your friends and family. Also, every volunteer receives a Race Crew t-shirt!
