AZ Spartans Global Day of Service -- Saturday, April 6, 2019

Join Your AZ Spartans in Giving Back For our annual MSU Global Day of Service, we will be partnering with ASU Project Humanities Service on Saturday, April 6. We will support them by distributing clothing & toiletries for those in the homeless population. Volunteers aged 8 and above are welcome! ASU Project Humanities efforts focus on providing clothing, toiletries, and other items to an unstable adult population in Phoenix. This will be the 2nd year that AZ Spartans has partnered with ASU Project Humanities to distribute clothing and other items to the adults who attend the outreach days. This could also include set-up and organization of tables that display the donations, interacting with the people they serve, and generally offering support to ensure the service day runs smoothly. The event begins at 6:30 a.m. with the set-up and organization of materials, followed by the distribution process, and is completed at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place outdoors, and you are encouraged to dress appropriately for the Phoenix temperatures—casual clothing/shoes, along with an MSU hat or shirt, if you have them! Street parking is limited. Suggested parking on 12th Avenue between Washington & Jefferson, or on 11th Avenue between Jefferson & Madison. MSU volunteers will meet at the Southeast corner of 12th Avenue & Jefferson at 6:20am.
