DC Spartans Welcome Michigan Veterans with Honor Flight

Project Description

Several times a year, DC Spartans welcomes groups of Michigan veterans to Washington, D.C. who come to see the monument and museums dedicated to their service. Many are MSU alumni and are excited to see someone from their alma mater there! Our job is to give them a hero's welcome. Signs, flags even bowls of candy are encouraged. 

Our veterans will fly on Delta Flight 8874 in Terminal B- their arrival time is 7:15 a.m. (It's early but worth it!)

ALSO! Our November Honpor Flight veterans will be accompanied by 10 Lions Ledgends - former NFL players for the Lions. This doesn't happen often so football fans should make sure not to miss.
